Serving as its latest way to share information and create dialogue with customers, media, marketers, trade association professionals, students and anyone else interested in print, Kodak today introduces a new Twitter feed, KodakIDigPrint. Go to Twitter.com/KodakIDigPrint and register as a member to begin participating in the community.
Initially focusing on digital printing, KodakIDigPrint features several daily postings on a variety of topics such as industry trends, technologies and products, unique applications, success stories, and promotional announcements. Special feeds for Graph Expo attendees will include ideas about things to do in Chicago, tidbits about the show, and details on Kodak’s special events and activities.
Twitter is a real time service for users to send short messages to people who sign on as followers of their feeds. Replies to posts can be viewed by all participants, creating a network for people interested in a particular subject to communicate with one another.
“In addition to print, today’s marketers are utilizing many new tools to reach their audiences,” said Kevin Joyce, Chief Marketing Officer, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group. “Through our presence on Twitter.com and other new media vehicles, we’re providing another way to engage with our customers to help them grow their businesses.”
Along with feeds at Twitter.com/KodakIDigPrint, a number of Kodak employees have their own sections including Twitter.com/JeffreyHayzlett, Twitter.com/PatMcgrew and Twitter.com/KodakCB.
