Ya didn't miss much....

Went to the Denver Event at the headquarters...Most everyone in the crowd was at least 50, and I had the Quark Educational Rep give me the worst sales pitch in history

"People in Education should be really excited about Quark 8. It's less feature rich than Adobe InDesign so it should be easier to teach to students!"

Yeah...great sales pitch...still no save as Master, still no 3 or more stop gradients...ooooh but we get a glyphs palette and a direct selection tool!

Too Bad No Canadian Stops

Too bad that Quark has left us Canadian professionals off the tour for Quark 8. No Canadian stop to Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver. Not all of us Canadian professionals can easily go to New York, Chicago or LA. I guess I'll stick with Indesign anyway!
